For those desiring a comprehensive design experience, our process is outlined below. 

Our innovative approach to design includes:

Discovery:  Various information-gathering methods are used during this initial stage of development including interviews and client questionaires, client journals, and photographic journaling.

Site Analysis:  Our trained designers will survey the home or facility using a standardized checklist to identify any existing barriers, take measurements, and make sketches noting technical aspects for modification of the space.                               

Assessment:  At this stage of development, information obtained during the discovery stage will be synthesized to produce the framework for the Team Design process.

Co-Design:   Activating all of the stakeholders (homeowners, caregivers, health care professionals, builders, designers, etc.), this process will use visual cues and an informal charrette process to facilitate conceptual design development.  This is a crucial step in distributing ownership of the design and accomplishing user satisfaction with the outcome.

Develop & Deliver:  This stage activates the formal design process as outlined below: 

Space Planning:  Making efficient and functionally satisfying use of a space using data that has been gathered, analyzed and organized for this purpose.                   

Schematic Drawings:  Technical drawings used to implement the design of the space.                             

Product Specifications:  Process that involves researching and mandating work to be done and products to be used for the completion of the design.

Design Renderings:  Drawings and sketches done in both 2D and 3D fashion that graphically illustrate the finished look of the design to the client.

Project Management:  Budget development and oversight, procurement of bids for work to be done, site visitation during installations and scheduled services, administrative tasks associated with project and overall management of design to ensure successful and accurate implementation.
